The Stats that show Jesus is better than Iheanacho
The internet broke yesterday as Gabriel Jesus scored two goals to secure a massive three points for Manchester City.
Jesus who arrived in the winter transfer window now has three goals and an assist to his name and Sunday’s heroics drew comparisons to the man whom he seems to have replaced in the manager’s eyes.
Kelechi Iheanacho has been left out of the matchday squad for the Citizens last three clashes and is the biggest casualty of the £28m arrival from Brazilian champions Palmeiras.
Critics have said that the Brazilian’s goal are similar to those for which the Nigerian so often gets stick for, all from within the six yard box.
All Gabriel Jesus' goals have been tap ins from 6 yards. Same thing Iheanacho gets criticized for.

Really like Gabriel Jesus but seems odd to me that Kelechi Iheanacho is rarely given the credit for doing exact same thing as today's goal.

While others have alleged that the only difference between the two forwards is that one costs more and is Brazilian.
In the face of all these allegations we plugged both names into whoscored’s comparison matrix and the stats indicate that Jesus is a more complete player than Iheanacho, take a look
While Iheanacho is the better for goals per minute, Jesus edges the assists per minute, wins more duels and is more positionally versatile. On the surface he is more of a Guardiola player than Iheanacho, it looks like the young Nigerian has a battle on his hands.
