Secret Features You Did Not Know Your Android Phone Has

Yes, we all know how cool smartphones are that they are almost indispensable in our everyday life. Yet, we never fully explore its capabilities. Here are some cool features your phone probably has but you have never noticed.

  • Battery Saver Trick

you can save your power by using a dark or simple background or screensaver.  If you do this, the automatic pixel highlighting will turn off, and you’ll notice that your device keeps its charge for much longer. This feature isn’t available for all Android devices yet, but it’s already implemented on most Samsung devices.

  • Text-To-Speech

You can listen to stories or articles while on the go or while busy. Android devices can help convert a text to speech, so not only can read articles but listen to them also. Go to Settings -> Accessibility and turn on the Text-to-Speech Output option.

  • Guest Mode Activated

If you would like to temporarily give your phone to another person yet keep your personal data confidential, use Guest Mode. Swipe down from the top with two fingers, and touch the user icon on the upper right. The Add guest icon will appear, and you’ll be able to choose which actions the person handling your smartphone will be allowed to take.

  • Screen Magnifier

If you have a poor eyesight, you do not need to squint so hard to identify what is showing on your phone.  Just go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Magnification gestures. Then you’ll be able to zoom in on any part of the display just by tapping it.

  • You Even Have A Secret Game

Starting with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Google puts a small secret present for users into all their devices. However, finding it may prove to be quite difficult. First, go to Settings and choose About phone or About tablet. Quickly tap Android version several times, and when a small marshmallow shows up on the screen, quickly tap it again, and a special mini-game will open.
