Mourinho: ‘Chelsea have won the League’

Jose Mourinho is already looking ahead to an FA Cup Semifinal date with Chelsea. The Portuguese gaffer insists his former side have the upper hand going into the tie due to a lighter schedule combined with their having ‘won the league’.

Zlatan scored his 24th goal for United to complete a comeback win against Blackburn

“Probably Chelsea can only think about that (the FA Cup) because I think they are champions and they have nothing else to fight for,” Mourinho said.

FA Cup Quarterfinal (Weekend of March 11)

Chelsea v Manchester United

Middlesbrough v Huddersfield/Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur v Millwall

Sutton United/Arsenal v Lincoln City

“The FA Cup is something I believe is important for them. I have to play St-Etienne (on Wednesday), I have to play the (League Cup) final, I have to play hopefully another opponent in the Europa League. I have to fight for a top four position in the Premier League. I have so many things to think about.”

The last time these two met in the FA Cup Chelsea beat United courtesy of an acrobatic Demba Ba goal after the first leg at Old Trafford ended even Stevens at one all.
