- Cameroon through to the final
Cameroon secured the other ticket to the Africa Cup of Nations final with a two-nil victory over Ghana on Thursday.
The Indomitable Lions took the lead in the 71st minute when Ngadieu capitalised on a defensive mix-up to score into an empty net from a freekick. Victory was then sealed in time added on when Bassagog broke away on a counter slotting past Razak in goal to send Cameroon through to the final.
Ghana entered the match as favorites and lived up to their billing troubling the Cameroonians and drawing smart saves from Ondoa in goal. They would however be left to rue so many missed chances as Cameroon took the lead against the run of play and held on to win it.
Ghana will now play Burkina Faso in the third-place match on Saturday while Cameroon lock horns with Egypt on Sunday.
