African Adaptation Of The Cinderella Story “DERE” Is Not Here To Play

Ebony Life TV is now synonymous with great TV shows and movies. From ‘The Governor’ to ‘Sons Of The Caliphate’ and now ‘DERE’. The first episode just premiered and we could see that the script writers, cast and even the production crew did a great job.

The mini-series revolves around Dere, named ‘Cinderella’ by her eccentric paternal grandmother. Like every adaptation, she is disliked by her stepmother and longs for the love of a prince charming.  This is a gripping fairy tale of how love conquers all with an African twist.
