Okafor’s Law To Be Released In Nigerian Cinemas In March

Omoni Oboli is ready to amaze us once again hopefully with another movie titled ‘Okafor’s Law’.

This romantic comedy tries to disprove the ideology that people of the opposite sex can’t be just friends. It tells the story of Chucks aka Terminator, an ardent player with ladies. When challenged by his friends to see if he can prove the universality of that theory with three ex-girlfriends from his school days within 21 days, he accepts it. This challenge of their various new status makes his quest to win the bet more and more insurmountable as he tries to prove the immortality of the long age law: Okafor’s Law.

Okafor’s Law states that if a man sleeps with a woman once, he can always bed her again irrespective of new developments like marriage, new boyfriend or break up.

After ‘Being Mrs Elliot’ and ‘Wives On Strike’ I am hopeful that this exceeds my expectations.Last year at the Toronto Film Festival, Okafor’s Law sold out three halls.

The movie is starring Omoni Oboli, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ufuoma McDermott, Toyin Aimakhu, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ken Erics, Gabriel Afolayan, Lala Akindoju, Halima Abubakar, Mary Lazarus, Yvonne Jegede, Betty Iraboh, Uche Nnaji.

Directed and produced by Omoni Oboli, we also see Yinka Edwards as the cinematographer.
