BetSlip Tips: Real Madrid slump to end, lots of value in Serie A

With the EPL off this weekend, not much value was available on Saturday, Sunday promises much more with lots of good picks from Series A. Good luck!

Sassuolo v Juventus (Juventus)

Juventus have won 9/10 games vs bottom half teams this season, it shows they very rarely fail vs weaker sides. Sassuolo have similarly poor record vs the top teams this season.

This seems quite straightforward to me, I fully expect Juventus to win, probably by a few goals, 0-2 or 0-3.

Real Madrid v Sociedad (both teams to score)

Real’s last 5 games have seen both teams score. Overall 8/10 home games have seen both teams score, only 2 clean sheets vs Leganes and Granada, two of the weakest teams.

Sociedad have scored in 8/9 away games this season, its pretty much a given they will concede here so their clean sheets of late do not worry me.

Mainz v Dortmund (both teams to score; Over 2.5)

Dortmund are favourites here, but considering their latest performances and the fact they are missing some key players, this won`t be stroll in the park for them. Mainz failed to score only once this season at home, while Dortmund have conceded in every Bundesliga road game. Also, Dortmund failed to score only twice on the road. Considering that majority of both team`s games is finishing with more than 2 goals being scored, I don`t see why it would be any different this time. Therefore I will back more than two goals here, with them coming from both sides.

Sampdoria – Roma (Roma)

Roma have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 matches (Serie A) also winning their last 3 matches against Sampdoria.

Hosts are now six matches without a victory and I don’t see them improving that easily against an in-form side that now has (some) title chances again. Visitors are favorites and given their individual strength I see only one outcome here.

Fiorentina v Genoa (Fiorentina; -1 Asian handicap)

Fiorentina have kept a clean sheet in 6 of their last 8 home matches against Genoa in all competitions.

Viola now seems to be in a pretty decent form and they should come up victorious here. Genoa ended their losing streak last weekend, but this game should be simply too much for them, especially since they play on the road and missing couple of really important players.
