Aviation in Nigeria performed poorly this year – Air travelers

Air travelers have spoken of their flying experiences this year.

Some passengers at the Port Harcourt international Airport, Omagwa said no improvement was seen in the aviation sector this year as they complained of leaking airlines, delayed flights and poor communication. Others however gave the aviation sector an average rating.
The air travelers in Port Harcourt also called for better service especially during this yuletide.
As you may know, there are five domestic airlines operating at the Port Harcourt international Airport, Omagwa, which include, Arik, Aero Contractors, Air Peace Azman and Dana.
These airlines saw challenges this year ranging from labour union issues, to incessant delayed flights due to logistic issues, weather conditions and the economic recession which saw an airline suspend operations temporarily.
There is however hope that the return of Aero Contractors this week, will help deal with the passenger traffic expected this yuletide at the airport.
