Nigeria’s tennis star has emerged the first in the ranking list of players in the Commonwealth.
This is the first time an African will top the list in the history of the Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation (CTTF).
Aruna Quadri with 2385 points slightly beat Singapore’s Gao Ning who has 2384 to take the position, while England’s Liam is third on the ranking list with 2277.
A total of 277 players were listed, and other Nigerian stars like Segun Toriola and Bode Abiodun stood at the 12th and 22nd positions, with 2014 and 1822 points respectively.
Although no Nigerian made the top 20 list in the women ranking, Edem Offiong and Olufunke Oshonaike were ranked 23 and 26 respectively.
