And So Ghana Must Go Wins Big

Award-winning Ghanaian/Nigerian actress Yvonne Okoro won big at the recently held Golden Movie Awards in Ghana with her ‘Ghana Must Go,’ a romantic comedy.
The movie grabbed Best Actor (Kofi Adjorlolo), Best Actress (Yvonne Okoro), Best Supporting Actress (Doris Sackitey), and Best Comedy of the Year, and had the actress overwhelmed with gratitude to her cast and crew, who helped her make the dream come true, while dedicating the award to her fans.
‘Ghana Must Go’ gives the hilarious turn of events for two young lovers; Ama (Yvonne Okoro), a London-based Ghanaian woman and her Nigerian boyfriend, Chuks (Blossom Chukwujekwu), when the woman’s parents refuse to give their blessing to the union due to historical happenings between the two nations.
The movie which was released earlier this year and also has Nkem Owoh and Kofi Adjorlolo in its cast, is currently making the waves in cinemas all over the country.
