STRESS- Our life today is so demanding that most times we don’t meet up with these demands and we became frustrated. This almost-always could be our inability to  meet our deadline, financial obligations, or family responsibility. Stress has become part of life to many.
Sometimes stress can be to our advantage. How? When stress is something you can manage or cope with. That is when you can perform under pressure, motivate you to do your best, stimulate you to think out of the box. In another circumstance, generate the needed stimulating/stress hormone(adrenaline) to keep you safe from danger.
However, if the stress overpowers or overwhelms us, our health, our mood, our relationship, and quality of life is affected.
Stress could cause or aggravate these health conditions- insomnia, depression, heart diseases, weight management, gastrointestinal problems, pains and your immunity.

Mental and Behavioral signs and symptoms

  • lack of concentration
  • poor judgement
  • anxiety
  • forgetfulness (short and long term)
  • depression
  • easily irritable
  • mood swing
  • lack of joy and happiness


Behavioral symptoms
